The experience in aboriginal communities is documented regarding approaches to development and movement towards self-sufficiency. These communities include northern communities within a context of land claims, coastal communities operating with natural resources, and a plains community that relies on its ingenuity and proximity to an urban centre for development. Some time is also spent with successful joint venture partners.
